A browser's heaven is
located in the building designed by Philip Johnson. Over 700,000 books are at your
fingertips ranging over four floors. We feature new books, career, travel, literacy, and
large print books. A collection of world language books representing more than forty
languages is located on the mezzanine level. General Reference is on the second floor
which features an encyclopedia corner and a collection of books on Boston, past, present,
and future. Staff prepares selected bibliographies on genre fiction, popular topics, and Quick Picks. Genre Fiction is interfiled with the general fiction. Stickers are placed on the spines of books describing the genre. Join our book discussion groups to read and discuss the best of the best, old and new.
