The following Library
materials are due 21 days from the date they are borrowed:
- Books
- Cassettes
- CDs
- Records
- Books on audio-tape
- Picture file material
- Magazines (Neighborhood branches only)
- Literacy material
- Pamphlets
Downloadable audio, video, music and ebooks are checked out for 14 days.
Videos, DVDs and circulating magazines are due 7 days from the
date they are borrowed.
Museum passes are due 2 days from
the date they are borrowed.
Special materials may be subject to
shorter loan periods.
The date to return the item(s) you
borrow appears on thereceipt printed at the time of check-out.
Research Library materials may be used
only within the Research Library and must be returned to the issuing desk the same day.
Some Research Library materials may be restricted to use in certain reading rooms.
The Library reserves the right to limit
the number of items to be borrowed. The number must be reasonable, i.e. it must be
consistent with the needs and rights of other borrowers.
The Library limits the number of DVDs a customer may borrow to 10. |
