Map My Hood

How does Teens Map My Hood work?

  • Sign up below or with a librarian at your local branch
  • From July 6th - August 13th, grab a list of all the FREE things to do and see in Boston from your library.
  • Once you have the list, visit as many places as you can and keep track of where you go and what you see. Keeping track is easy — take pictures while you're there or write something about your trip once you get back.
  • Need artistic inspiration for your photos? The BPL has a huge collection of historical Boston images. Check out a sample of the places you can visit on Flickr.

There will also be weekly drawings for free books and the more places you go the bigger the chances are that you could win the GRAND PRIZE: two round trip tickets to George's Island.
