Codman Square Branch Programming Study

In FY21 a programming study launched at the Codman Square Branch to assess the interior and exterior physical conditions of the building and to identify the library services needs of the community.

Housing with Public Assets Codman Square Community Meeting

The City of Boston’s Department of Neighborhood Development (DND) hosted a community meeting on November 17, 2021, to give further background on their Housing With Public Assets initiative and their Department’s role in developing housing in the City of Boston. DND also discussed how they are approaching this initiative in regards to the Codman Square Branch Library Programming Study. The focus of this meeting was housing. We plan to have another community meeting to continue the discussion of the library branch program and the potential addition of housing to the site.
