The Boston Public Library and the City of Boston’s Public Facilities Department invite Mission Hill community members to celebrate the reopening of the Parker Hill Branch of the Boston Public Library on Saturday, July 28 at 10 a.m., following a year of closure for interior and exterior improvements. Under the leadership of Mayor Martin J. Walsh, the $2.4 million investment in the branch includes significant improvements to the façade, repairs to prevent leaks, repairs to plasterwork, window replacements, repairs to masonry, and interior painting. All are welcome to attend.
Parker Hill programming will resume at the branch following the reopening, including summer reading events. More details can be found on Parker Hill Branch's page.
